GYROTONIC® l Yoga Narada™ Ballet Biomechanics l Functional Anatomy

Michele is classically trained in Ballet and Modern Dance holding a B.F.A. in Dance Performance from Marymount Manhattan College (2001). She has performed in many freelance ballet companies and Merce Cunningham. Michele has been actively teaching as a certified GYROTONIC®️instructor since 2001 in NYC and is certified on all GYROTONIC®️Specialized Equipment, ( Jumping Stretching Board, Gyrotoner, Leg Extension Unit, Laddar/Archway), as well as GYROTONIC®️ Level 2 and Pre Training, Applications for Breast Cancer Survivors, Pre Post Natal, Dancer, and Scoliosis. She has also completed certification in GYROKINESIS®️ foundation and Level 2.

Michele is honored to be an authorized teacher of Hilary Cartwright’s Yoga Narada™️ (co founder of White Cloud Studio in NYC where the GYROTONIC®️ Expansion System and Yoga for Dancers were originally developed). Michele has taught for professional dance schools and companies in addition to her private practice including Steps on Broadway, Mark Morris Dance Center, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Ballet Arts and The Academy for Dance Arts. Michele has a strong passion for Functional Anatomy and continues study with Julliard Anatomist Professor Irene Dowd where she has completed certificates in Kinesthetic Anatomy and Biomechanics of Motion, Transforming Stress, as well as numerous courses on Neuromuscular Re-education. Michele is also influenced by the work of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and values a long term consultative networking practice with European trained Osteopath Stacey Grifman.
